It’s like buffalo chicken mac & cheese — only a little bit better.
There’s a zing in the sauce which I’m pretty sure is saffron considering Portuguese Mozambique sauce uses saffron as a signature staple.
This is one of the must-try dishes if you’re going to place an order at Atlantic.
I’ve gotten it three times so far. Once with chourico and twice with chicken (the chicken won).
The container was a little messy but overall the dish traveled well during take-out. They took a little extra care when packaging to be sure it didn’t spill.
